Cancellation Policy
Although unavoidable at times, clients are asked to give as much notice as possible for any appointment cancellations. In the event of a cancellation the following fees may be charged:
More than 24 hours notice, no fee.
Less than 24 hours incurs a full charge.
No notice of the cancellation incurs the full fee.
Description of services:
My sessions are typically scheduled to be 1-2 hours in length. During this time we will discuss your concerns and reasons for consultation, and/or review what has occurred since the previous session.
Clients are expected to provide accurate information and express their expectations and limitations clearly which will assist me in assessing potential energy imbalances in the subtle energy field and choose the best individualized approach to take. We will then begin a process where I will tune in, scan and assess the areas of blocked of energies in your body. facilitate corrections designed to release disturbed energies in order to restore innate positive energies, bringing your energy field to a state of balance and harmony.
My modality is predominantly energetic (no-touch), but if touch is needed to help ground the energy or sooth the client in times of emotional distress, I always ask for verbal permission first, I also ask for a verbal permission before energetically “tuning in” with my clients. I sometimes recommend and teach specific exercises and movements that you can do to help balance your energy yourself, these are recommendations only.
While these methods are generally gentle and considered non-invasive, it is possible that physical and emotional after-effects may occur when your energies have been stimulated and adjusted. If any procedure is uncomfortable, I encourage you to tell me at once, and I will instantly stop when you request me to do so. I simply require you to allow me to “seal” and return the energy which was brought out for clearing, to recede back to its “dormant” state and to help you, through specific exercises to ground your energy field, before you leave the session. This will avoid you leaving while the energy is in an activated state, leaving you emotionally charged, volatile or overwhelmed and not being grounded enough to be able to self-regulate and be balanced enough to continue with your day in a functional way.
Limitations:
I do not purport to diagnose or treat disease or act as your physician. This work is not offered as a replacement or substitute for health care treatment with a licensed and qualified health-care provider, but rather as an optional, complementary service. As such, I do not offer diagnosis, treatment or cure for any disorder or illness. It is your full responsibility to seek medical advice and opinion from your primary care physician (or other qualified healthcare provider as appropriate) regarding regular assessment and routine monitoring of your medical health or if you have symptoms that are distressing.
Partnership:
Effective energy work requires a partnership between the Energy Healing practitioner and the client. Achieving body/mind well-being is the responsibility of both the client and the practitioner. I will help you develop new energy habits to substitute for less useful ones. Your role in this partnership is to make a strong commitment to work to achieve the goal of energy balance.
Timeliness:
It is important that you are on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please inform me a.s.a.p. – I will accommodate you as possible, however, time may be lost from your session, and the remaining time may not be sufficient to address all the issues of your consultation. If I am late for a session, I will likewise, extend the session if our schedules permit, or we will make other arrangements.
Fee Schedule:
Payment is due at the time of your visit.
Confidentiality: Your records, files, personal information and experiences during our Energy Healing sessions are strictly private and confidential. I may be required to release information if subpoenaed or otherwise legally obligated such as in circumstances where there is clear and imminent danger to yourself or another person.
Acknowledgement and Consent to Receive Services:
I have read and understand the above disclosure regarding the services offered by Marie Trempe. I understand that she is not a physician and that her services as an Energy Healing practitioner are not licensed. I further understand that Marie Trempe is not trained to diagnose illnesses, make recommendations involving pharmaceutical drugs or surgery, or handle medical emergencies. I have consented to use the services offered by Marie Trempe, and agree to be personally responsible for the fees in connection with the services she provides, including full payment for missed sessions (see above*). I also agree to be personally responsible for my own health recognizing that the degree to which energy can heal depends upon my participation.
